Anyone have these?

I want white.
They advertize 4000 degree white light.

$37 for a set you better brab those up rite quik. Here its more like $37 a bulb. But back to topic yeh they are really white. After i got em i went rite next to my friend who just got HID's and i was blown away there wasnt much difference at all. His are 5000 these are 4000 and they are really white and worth the money.

I was just at Wal-Mart on Sunday morning and they are $49.95 per pair. If you can get them for $37, could I send you the $$$ and you send me a pair?
Thanks,
Charles

I'll see what I can do, I get paid soon, and on sunday some more $$ I'm gonna get highs and lows..
H3 Fogs should be available at the end of the summer too :)

I have a set of these Silverstars and I think they're pretty cool. Very bright white. It's about as bright as you'll get without HIDs.

With these bulbs there is no wiring replacing right? It won't melt any stock wiring or anything?

Total plug and play. Same physical looking bulbs.

Eric, wish I would've known you were interested in seeing these... I just installed them right before Fest. They are very white and are definitely quite a bit brighter.

I had mine at the fest as well. Anyone who saw my "police lights" flashing saw them. They're super bright.

Well as long as they are white.. that was my main concern.
Blue headlights, well that ain't right.
I'll probably pick them up on monday or so.

Eric,
When you go to get yours, would it be possible for you to pick up a set for me? (You mentioned you might be able to do it.) I would like a set of high-beam bulbs (9006s) since I'm using the "other" Sylvania 9006 bulbs in my low beam housings now and these would be even better! If you can help, I would REALLY appreciate it!
Please just let me know,
Thanks,
Charles

I went to WalMart today after reading this thread over the last couple of days and picked-up a set for my Coug. They look like they'll be really bad looking, as well as brightening up the street in front of me. At the WalMart in Bridgeview,IL they were about $37 before tax. I'll let you guys know how they look when I put them in before I go to work tomorrow. Thanks for starting this thread and bringing them to my attention, I've always liked the look of the hyper whites, but didn't realize that I could pick some up for cheap!

Well I picked up my set of highs and lows today.. and from the "wall" side by side comparison they are much brighter and less yellow than my
original 4 year old stock bulbs.

Charles I'm not sure how much you plan on saving, having me buy them at 37.95 + 2.27 Tax + about 5 for shipping comes to 45.00 savings of like $5... and thats priority mail shipping with no insurance...

You're probably right...I'm going to head over to "Wally World" tomorrow and tell them that some of their other stores are selling them at $37 and see if they'll match the price.
Thanks for your help though,

Well a quick review... I'm not happy yet.. These lights in the rain suck, they might
be the same temp or close to HID, but their penetration, and distance really is lacking.
I will further my review on a dry night, once one of those happens.

Thats weird i have had them for over 2 months and it rains here constantly during the summer and i dont have any issues with them in the rain at all i get awesome penetration rain, fog, anything.

EricF

Don't get me wrong I won't completely write them off yet, till I see them in the dry night.(cause its dry more than wet.)
But after dropping $80 on headlights... I'd hope for better, especially since my 4 year old
stock bulbs from the factory light better....

i had the same prob with mine. they are much brighter so i amied mine down a bit and it took care of the problem. being brighter they still lit the road up farther.

Well tonight I was able to use them without rain..
I can say that they are adaquate, brighter than my stocks? maybe?
its close, color is definitely different, a little too blue for my liking when in LowBeam
but on highbeam they are better.

Worth $80 no not really... but I'll keep em.

I've driven a little bit during two nights so far w/ mine installed and I've noticed that they may not be brighter, but they seem to light-up the street better IMO. I'm happy w/ them, but I haven't tried them in the real rain yet, just a little drizzle last night, and they seemed to do the trick.
