Types of radar bands

Does anyone know which band of radar (X, K, Ka or other) is used here in Germany? I have an old detector and it picks up the permanent photo radar in the cities, but I get a lot of false alarms from automatic doors and such.

:confused: I don't know which bands they use in Germany, but the current publicity is that although radar detectors are legal in the UK do not get caught with one in your car in France
