Its not car related, but I wanted to share Steve's and my news. :)

Yesterday we adopted a dog. He's a shepherd/husky mix and his name is Jackson. :) We think he was abused at his last home, and he's very much under weight (20 lbs), so we're getting acclimated to being doted on, and he'll be spending time with my parents' 3 dogs every weekend, when we're down :)

We weren't expecting to get one, but we were trying to find medication for one of my mom's dogs, and the rescue agency in VA was at Petsmart and he was the coolest damn one there. :)

Just wanted share :)

I missed seeing all you guys again, but we had wedding crap to do :)

I mean come on......choosing flowers for the ceremony is awesome (NOT).

But then again we did get Jackson, so the horrible flower experience wasn't all that bad.

Anyone got a clue as to how to keep him off stairs?

We have a set of stairs that connects to the main house, and we use them to enter and leave the place, and he'll follow, and he doesn't understand, "go downstairs," yet, so any clue as to how to get him to let us leave without him following us up the stairs?

well right now he listens to steve (kinda) when he tells him to sit at the bottom of the stairs. He doesn't sit, but he does stay put. He doesn't listen to me. :( A gate woudl work, but we have an open banister and he can get thru that, and I don't know what I could put there.

You could put some sort of net or tie rope on the banister (to make some a weave so he can't get through the banister opening). I don't know if you would really appreciate having a couple pieces of rope tied around the banister though. :) I'm sure you'll think of something! Good luck!
