Anyone know where I could get a flex shaft for a die grinder to port out the inside of my 3.0L manifold more? I've gone all out on everything I can reach already (about 2-3 inches in as far as I can go on every port). This thing is going to rock when I'm done. It will have 10 times the glass finish I have on my current intake and feed my car the air it needs to get over 200fwhp.

i purchased one at Canadian Tire. It was essentially a flex shaft for a standard drill... it can work for porting jobs, however the side loads you induce on the bearing while porting will eventually cook the bearing in the flex shaft and it will well... melt :)...
i initially bought 2 of them... i'm down to just 1 now.....
If you can't find one around you, i'm sure i can do some looking into seeing if they have any more on the shelf for sale or whatever and send one off your way...

I've been searching for a few days now without any luck. The dremel tool flex shaft keeps coming up and thats not what I want. Is there another name I should be searching under besides flex shaft?

i threw the boxes out a long time ago.... i just call them flex shaft... maybe try a speciality tools store... not sure if you have any in your area but that would be a good start... i doubt you'll find much doing inet searches though

You want a Flex Hone... McMaster-Carr is one company that sells them.
