just got done with the semi finals. albert pujols (THA MAN!) is in the finals. he hit 14 freakin homeruns in the semifinals. tied the record with giambi. well, it's back on, back to the game. later!!

How can you guys ditch baseball when you have one of the coolest baseball teams right there in STL? I love the Cards!

I ditched baseball about 10 years ago when they had a strike during a season in which my White Sox had a good shot at winning the World Series. They lost some key players before the next season, and they also lost me as a fan.

Edit: I'm not bitter about that though, I swear.

Yeah...you don't sound it at all...and you're not bitter about the Bears losing repeatedly during the NFL season either, right? :rofl:

I'm not bitter about the Bears. They had a tough season with a lot of injuries. Most of the team is still intact and they have improved in the QB and WR positions so I see them doing pretty good this season. Sure they lost a bunch last year, but just remember that the Bears have won more games than any other team in the NFL.
