... walked into the administrators office at my job today to be told that my position has been terminated after more than five years.... so now the job that was affording me the ability to keep this car is gone...
What a great day.

Man, NY stinks for finding jobs...... I didn't get the full time teaching job that i had hoped for and the part time position that I currently hold is decreasing in time and $$ for next year. I too was thinking about having to sell my kitty.......Gotta go to grad school for the masters degree (required by NYS). All the jobs are down south....maybe I'll move....????
good luck on the job search! If anyone knows of a Instrumental Music Teacher opening <ANYWHERE> let me know! ;)

Sorry to hear that Jason, that is really unfortunate. I wish you the best of luck trying to find another job out there. At least you will be eligible for unemployment until you find something, right? That would give you six months to try to find a job and hopefully you can live on that.
It is great to see our President and governor working so hard to improve the state and national economy.......

I just want to thank Carl for hooking me up with that job description, and for delivering my resume to his boss.
I know it sounds horrible to ask, but if anyone knows of any job openings in the computer/electronics field (or anything, for that matter), please let me know... Cougarfest is giving me a one week repreve from job hunting, but come Monday morning it's full steam ahead to get a new job!
