Hey guys, just wondering if anyone out there is looking for a beater car to use during the winter or something so that the kitty doesnt get too much road damage, if if anyone knows of anyone looking for a first car or something. I MIGHT be selling mine in order to get an '01 Fukus, which I would LOVE to have. And the best part is I can get it for around $4000! Egads! Anyway, details:
Basics:
1995 Ford Escort
77,500 miles
Red exterior
grey cloth interior
Exterior:
few scratches
very few tiny dent
clear coat is peeling off of the back bumper
Interior:
excellent condition, almost like new
power seat belts work sometimes, I usually just buckle and unbuckle them myself
2 year old CD headunit, it's a Blaupunkt RPD 552 (whatever that means, lol) 210 watts
manual windows and locks
dual front airbags
spacious back seat with 3 seatbelts
Mechanical:
automatic
my mechanic says thats it's in pretty good condition considering its age
needs new rear tires
needs an oil change (but I'll probably end up doing that myself after Cougarfest)
was just inspected in May and it passed with flying colors :)
asking price: $2500
I attached a picture that has my car in it. lol... thats Rick's kitty and then my car is behind him. Sorry I dont have a better picture.
Thats all I can think of right now. It runs pretty good to me and I don't drive hard or harsh. I'm the second owner, I bought it about 3 years ago with 59,000 miles, so I've only put on less then 20,000 miles in 3 years. Its not a fast car, obviously, it's only a 4 cylinder 1.9 liter engine, but it gets me to where I'm going.
