Turbo Le Baron vs. S-10

this story is great. Some dude in a S-10 gets in the b!tch lane (lane that merges after
light about 200yds ahead) next to my Dad in his 89 GTC Le Baron. He looks over at my Dad
and inches up a little past the line. My Dad stays where he's at. Dude inches up even more.
The other peoples light goes red and dude starts to take off but realizes he's a half wit and
that there is another arrow still. He's now got his rear tire even with my Dad's front tire.
My Dad gives her some gas while holding down the brake gets the rpm's up and the light
turns green. Dad takes off kid takes off, my Dad pulls his rear to the kids front tire. The kids
truck is screaming and my Dad gains about 6 more feet on him then has to slow down for
the cars ahead. My Dad looks over and the kid is flipping out and flys past him and cuts infront
of the car ahead of my Dad and almost causes an accident.

Mike, your dad gets a big thumbs up from me :thumbsup:. I hate those people that try to pull that. They always do it by Clarke Ford on Rt. 91 going North. I've stopped many people from pulling that move, including a 350Z, man that girl was pissed, but then again she did end up all the way in the grass and had to stop and wait for 2 more cars to go by before merging in. What's worse is they always act like your the one being an @sshole and like you should just let them cut you off at the last moment. Of course there is never a cop around to catch them pulling off these dumb@ss moves. I've taught Lisa to not let them in and if one of us is riding with the other we always look and warn the person driving that someone is trying it.

See, I'm usually that guy :flushed: But really, it's not an issue to me, as long as me, or whoever else is doing it, doesn't cause traffic to back up when they finally decide to merge.

I love being in the straight lane, though, first at the light. I pray for something ricey to come around and try to a**hole me...

hey i still own my lebaron the thing is pretty bad ass! i'm selling it. its funny though becuase that baby has taken down some cars lol. my friend has a camaro n he decided to have him n his girl in the car n rev the engine so i'm like whatever dude lets go n boy i kciked the mess out of him the car is sooooo quick lol! well i mean its quick but it looks like it would be slow lol making it even more amazging. wow good times in the old lebaron gtc convertable
