We were talking at todays meet, and decided the next meet will be a MOD MEET. We have decided this because the people that didnt want to do a mod meet last time didnt show up. Also its fun working in 100° weather on the cars! As of now we are looking at the last Friday/Saturday of August. Ive mentioned a 2 day mod meet, that way we can get some cars done maybe on friday, and the others done on saturday and that way it will also be easier for people traveling not to be so tired.

I vote that we have a 2 day meet. Does anyone have a house they can lend us for 2 days?

Sounds good to me...

Even if it is small...those of us who have mods to be done can get them done...

Sounds good!!! With a two day, people can show up when they want on friday, lord knows that there will be people that have to work friday and still want to come so they can show up on saturday. And about school, there is always after school! But nevertheless, Im definately in (unless the AirForce says "No, You get to work this weekend" but that hasnt happened yet.

Having two lifts would be great...the only problem is finding places to sleep. How far is that from college station?

koreanboi121
07-14-2003, 05:34 PM
heh bring some damn sleeping bags, the garage has floors =]

spooki
07-15-2003, 06:12 PM
college station is about 1 1/2 hour from here.
ill go ahead and find the guy and ask him before we get any hopes up.

Dosserj
07-16-2003, 05:38 PM
Ya saturday/sunday would be better for most probably...I also think the garage with the lifts would be very beneficial if we can get it.

I'd really try to make this meet...I've got that modding fever and I need to get my hands dirty, even though I have no mods to do to my car.
I haven't gutted any pre-cats since that last mod meet at Bob's and I'm going through withdrawls.

Dosserj
07-17-2003, 03:10 AM
i will let you help me with my pre-cats ;)

I'd love to hit a meet finally, but I won't be able to go anywhere until the begining of October when my husband is back.

labor day weekend would rock for those of us who get a 3 day weekend out of it.

koreanboi121
07-18-2003, 11:24 AM

Dosserj

...alcoholic...

Jester
07-18-2003, 04:20 PM
Its funny how someone mentions beer and some bastard child has to start calling people alcoholics. I swear other people's children....

So far sounds cool, I am still a go for it. Though Im not sure what mods I will have to get done, but I can lend a hand

im ordering my aem intake this week, dunno if im going to install it myself or wait for the next meet cause of the 'heatsoak' issue. but i will have springs next meet even if i have to sell a body part. I think im going to go donate blood for 35 bucks!!!

spooki
07-22-2003, 04:27 PM
the guy with the shop was a jerk, he wanted to much and a big deposite.

my fience is a real-estate agent and might be able to find a building (most likely without lifts), if you guys want to doe something like that.

khusted
07-22-2003, 06:03 PM
how about just finding a member with a garage willing to host

koreanboi121
07-22-2003, 09:03 PM
it really doesnt matter to me, as long as we have a place. i can bring my roommates jacks and a couple lifts i think.

spooki

any body live in the country?. where we could have lots of room and some of us could camp out.

I have 20 acres and a whole lotta tools?

i think we have a winner.

spooki
07-28-2003, 03:39 PM
that does sound like a winner, but i think we are suppose to keep the meets moveing around. but if no-one objects, im game.

tropiccougar01

Patrick, how far away is floresville? Like where is it located.

Dosserj
07-29-2003, 12:04 AM
Floresville is 20-25 miles SE of San Antonio. I wouldn't mind having another meet close to SA, but like spooki said we are supposed to spread the meet locations around Texas so others can get involved.

P.S. Spooki do you still have those extra MIL eliminators you made a while back?

koreanboi121
07-29-2003, 02:21 AM
i know we are suppose to spread them out, but if noone is offering a place somewhere else, then it would be impossible.

koreanboi121
07-31-2003, 12:59 AM
whos going to take charge of this meet?

koreanboi121
08-03-2003, 01:50 PM
bump?

Dosserj
08-03-2003, 04:45 PM
Lets make sure we can use Patrick's house before we start delegating.
Is it OK if we bombard your house Patrick?

Jester
08-05-2003, 01:59 PM
Due to circumstance beyond my control (leteral translation means divorce) I will be unable to attend. Sorry...

tropiccougar01
08-05-2003, 06:12 PM
Sorry to her that Chris. Hope to see you at another meet man.

Jester
08-06-2003, 01:18 AM
Its all good Gene, thanks though. Im sure that I will be able to make it to more meets in the future. This one just falls at a bad time. But ya gotta let me know how it goes.

koreanboi121
08-08-2003, 03:47 PM
is this gonna happen? if not then ill just go to tornado alleys meet if its in OKLAHOMA. I am going to do my springs myself so it would be pointless for me to go if i have nothing to do again.

Dosserj
08-09-2003, 04:31 PM
Well, the location was going to be in Floresville (SE of S.A.) at Kamacougar's house, but he hasn't told us for sure if he can do it. So it is still up in the air I guess. I still want to gut my cats so I still want to meet. Does anyone else still want to meet?

Ika
08-09-2003, 04:35 PM
I'll be able to make it. Not sure if I need or want anything done though. How long does gutting the cats take, and what gains do you get from it? I could use some help installing some led's on my switches though, if anyone can help with that.

koreanboi121
08-09-2003, 04:56 PM
ill go to the meet if its gonna happen.

SwngChef
08-14-2003, 10:27 AM
if it's near SA, I should be able to make it. Thus far, no plans for Labor Day weekend...but fiancee might be overriding factor. I'd be interested in seeing what could be done. I'm beginning to feel it run a little rough, and could use a second opinion.
