well i've heard of dealerships being real a-holes and telling people the whole electrical system warranty will be voided if you add anything electrical (sound system, alarm, remote start). Asking the dealership before you get it done would be your best bet.

your dealer is awesome! most dealers will throw a fit at aftermarket equiptment. even if your dealer did say it would void the warranty that would be incorrect. there is a law saying basicly that unless the dealer can PROVE that the peice of aftermarket equiptment DIRECTLY caused the failure, they need to honor your warranty! chances are good that yor dealer has a lot of work done at a local shop for the customers. most dealers have local shops set up that do video systems, and keyless entrys on cars that didnt come equipt stock. the dealers we work with have us do all the carstarters for them as well. you should feel safe knowing that your dealer is comfortable with the aftermarket!

I have an alarm system that rolls my windows up and down and opens and closes my sunroof, turns on the radio and remote starts my MTX. I also have alot of equipment in the trunk. When I had trouble with some of my interior lights and door locks and stuff they fixed everything for me. some dealers are just bastards

it does alot of other stuff to. You can set it so it starts every hour and runs for 15 mins up to 24 hours. It does alot more I just don't use them all. It's by "JTIO" and it's called an "IT". Their slogan is "Nobody messes with IT"
