While the CougarFest.com site has a "Caravan" section, there are some caravans that only have a few caravan members listed, as well a few caravans that don't have any members other than the person trying to organize it. Only a few have any real plans listed on the page.
Would it be possible for caravan members or caravan heads to post here and give some quick info... like departure times, route to be taken, and rough itineraries? I think it would be helpful for some of us that are between caravans or whose chapter's itinerary doesn't cater to isolated members.
Thanks. :)

Gateway is leaving from the Burger King across the street from Gateway International Raceway in Madison, IL at 6pm Wed and heading to MetallicaCoug's house in Evansville, IN for the night. From there, the plan is to leave her house at ~5am and head east to VA Beach. I-64 the whole way from St. Louis to VA Beach.

Would've worked a lot better if you didn't just post it for everyone to see! Should've sent me a PM...I'd have brought you one of the PPE respirator masks from work
This is a good idea...it's a shame it's so late though! Anyone who will be hitting I-64 on Thursday should meet up with us (those of you in TN, KY, WV, and western VA) send me a PM if you're interested and we'll work out a time and exit number...we're picking up one in Lexington, VA at about 3:30 local time...

Guys just to let you know the Hampton Roads Bridge tunnel is a MAJOR traffic nightmare during rushhour. If you see signs for delays, be sure to take 664 and detour around the mess. 664 will put you back to where you need to be either 64 or 264. It's like the scenic route. I would seriously recommend this option if the need arises. Tidewater peeps can help you since I haven't lived there for a while now.
This would be only for those traveling from the North.

NJ is leaving Thursday at 7am in Cherry Hill. Then meeting up with PA in DC at 10am.
It may be a little late, but does anyone want to use the same channel on the FRS radios so incase we run into other caravans on the highway we can communicate??
Say everyone use channel 4??
