me and my friend were driving and we get to a stoplight, and an old old old guy comes up next to me, busta been atleast 70...so i'm screwing around and inch up past the line and rev up to like 4000 rpms. well hte light turns green, and the guy floors it. you can hear the engine churnin and me tottally unexpecting and was left in the dust..UNTIL i floored and burned him. not your everday race

you gotta remember that people who are 70 today were about 30 during the muscle car days. they were no strangers to drag racing ;)

I don't see how you couldn't have expected it. You weren't too subtle revving it up to 4k.

ya i was getting pretty worried, it was fun none the less, it was more fun when i realized there was a cop about 200 yards after that, thank god for good braking distance

the peak muscle car era was around 1966-1970 which would make our crazy grandpa about 40... maybe he stole his son's cars and raced them around. crazy old men.
