Pretty easy kill but thought to share.

Some fool decided to pull up next to me and rev it 3 times trying to get my attention hehe. Was a blue RSX Type S. Appeared to be slightly modified. He says on the light, you want to race.

I'm like sure. . ok.

Light turns green and he gives alittle front wheel wheel hop. I just sit there and start counting. . .1. . .2. . .3 then I go hehe :)

Needless to say there was a good 2 or 3 bus lengths between us. . .with him in the rear view. His expression as I passed him was priceless. Wished a had my camera with me today hehehe

I don't know if he actually thought he could take on a V8 or if he mistakenly took my car to be a regular V6 firebird as my car does look alike. . and my Trans Am badges are black as well to match the rest of the car :)

Don't know but gave him the smokeing he wanted hehe.

;) hehehe. I couldn't resist it. Already knew I was going to blow him away so just played the kid hehe.

Oh hey. . Delks finished the work last night on the car. Got the stall put in and the leaking rear fixed. Car is hell on wheels now man :)

I still have some issues that needs to be worked out. Hoping LS1 Edit will fix those. It redlines everytime it changes gears now. . . speed O is off by 9 miles and well just needs a good tune.

We'll see how things goes after I get it tuned. . . .then I'm going to call out that '02 NSX ;)

You know what Raben, I'm sick of you coming here and bragging about your car. hehe, just messing with ya, I'm just jealous. :) Nice kill! My first choice for a car was the Trans Am but I couldn't afford the insurance. All well, hopefully next time I'm in the market for a car I'll be able to.

I love you, Raben...

...but not like that. THAT would be gross.

Keep the stories coming!

LOL!

Coug99 all in good time man. They are having talks about returning the Camaro in 2006. I'm not sure if it's going to be sporting the LS1 or the LS6 but it's going to be one hell of a car if they do it. The pictures of the car are awesome! I'll have to find the website again and post in the garage section unless someone has already beated me to it :)

I'm lucky on the insurance part. I just turned 25 this year. . .plus married and have a little girl. And a clean driving record and only pay $650 a year on my car, full coverage. Not to bad.

I understand where you are coming from, not sure of your age but when I first bought the cougar back in 99 my insurance was well over $1200 a year :(

I'm just regretting now that I installed the 3.73 gears. They work AWESOME with the Stall however it killed my top end. It pulls really strong up to 120 but after that it kinda dies down now. Before with the 3.23's it continued to pull strong. The only thing though, I get to 120 alot faster than before though heeh which I guess all I need since most of the time I'm at the track ;)

I'm only 17 so my insurance is high anyway. I'm spending $2400 a year for the Cougar. The Trans-am would but me over $3500. That's awsome about 2006. I hope it comes true!

Make sure you get a vid when you hit on the Nsx. I'm telling ya bud...bring your A game. John isn't afraid of spraying that NSX at ALL. I don't think he knows where the off button is on that thing.

Yea I know man.

That's the other thing, I have this feeling that eventhough he claims he'll run off the bottle, I am willing to bet if he see's me pulling on him he's going to spray.

His best time at the track was 12.8 and I have a good feeling I'll be that with alittle practice on this stall. I just can't get it to hook right because it'll be street tires only, his game. No DR's. Grrr.

WIth my current nearly bald tires, I just sit there and spin like forever in 1st gear hehe. I may go up to union hill sometime soon just to get some practice launches in.

But I want a piece of that NSX and a few others on the TN Speed boards :) Just friendly fun but hey hehe.

But yea if he sprays then he'll destory me hehe. last time he ran at the track he pulled a 11.8. . . . a whole freaking second shaved off with a 100hp shot of Nitrous. Even with Nitrous I doubt I would hit 11.8. Traction is my worst enemy. He's lucky. . .his engine is directly over his rear wheels so off the line his *** is gone hehe. As for me. . . nice little burn out, woohoo looks cool but he's already halfway down the track hehe.

but then again I keep under estimating my car so who knows.

Hey when you getting your goodies in? I'll be curious to see if you could beat Mindtrips or the other cats times with the setup. You going with a 75 shot right?

Oh yea who's that cat going by the nick Interglac? That isn't Ryan is it?

nice kill but... i don't see why him wanting to race you is so funny? I race anything i see on the road that will race, Viper's, Ferrari's you name it. Obviously i'm gonna get my ass kicked but I don't care. It's for the fun factor.

but if you still had your cougar that race would have been a different story :)

for me it's for the rush, the thrill so to speak.

when i raced the Viper he said ok i'll race you, i'll give you a 7 second head start. (not sure what he gave me, but I was going about 65 when i heard the roar of his engine and the squeeling of his tires.. so he gave me a while lol)

but when he passed me when i was at about 90-100mph, he let her rip and smoked the tires.... that was amazing

Yep :-)

I think the Nsx will spray no matter what he says. the only way to be sure would to be to unhook his bottle yourself...I doubt he'll let that happen.
We're going to have to hook you up against the S2000 soon. They just funished installing the new header, clutch, pressure plate, etc.
The dang thing revs like a motorcycle now and the clutch will actually put the power to the ground without cooking itself now.

Cool man. . .yea I'll hook up with the S2000 :)

I'm going back in this Saturday to finish the tuning. . .see what happens from this. I'll only race at the track though. . not doing any high speed racing on the street. I've tried it once lately and was against my brothers Z28. I nailed him up to 125 but after that he blew me away. My powerband has changed with the gear/stall combo. Car pulls great from 0 to 125 but it's just after that it tends to die down some. Still pulls really good. . but not like it did with the 3.23's I had.

If that S2000 can hook it should be interesting.
