I picked up a Motorola Talkabout 5620 package today, and I can't figure out how the hell to use the damn thing, much less know if it will work with anyone elses.... any ideas?

Ken and I can help you out...we used frs radios last year.
1. Put in batteries
2. Turn on
3. Switch to channel

Heheh... it probably would have helped if I didn't have a few beers before I opened the package... anyway, got the things working. They are the ones that work with security codes (GMP something), and with FRS frequencies. I hope they will interface with the radios you guys have got...
And Ken, instructions for these radios are:
1. Turn on, adjust volume.
2. Tune to channel, set security code.
3. Set FRS or GMP something.
4. Set call sound.
5. Set squelch.
6. Talk.
