It's now ours. I went ahead and registered the domain for our future use. If anyone has any ideas or wants to help out setting everything up just email me at silver2002cat@hotmail.com. There are quite a few options that we may have with this domain so look forward to some good things:)
BTW: there isnt anything there just quite yet. :thumbsup:
im so lazy at emailing. cant we just talk on here?? HAHA
but yeah dood, ill help with anything you want.

I think since we are so new, we can do a featured ride each month.

I think there should be like some pages like:

Contacts:I had liked how Lonestar setup VP's for a certain region so you could get a hold of someone locally. This will come in handy for us since we are not all in the same state. Then you can also contact the webmaster and then the Chapter President.
And really i havent thought of more things...but im sure I will.

eric's already pd. 4 the domain name...& he's gonna work out something w/ this guy 4 hosting it, r whatever it's called...haha. so i'm sure he'd gladly accept donations... ;)
i think the idea 4 the v.p. of each region/state is a really good idea! also, the non-coug related pg. would b cool...b/c it's not like we can b 2 serious r anything! :biggrin:
also, each profile will b managed by cougardb…so that way u can change u'r coug's profile w/o having 2 e-mail me r eric 2 do so. so, check out the stickied post bout cougardb, please!!
so far we have: 1) main pg, 2) list of members w/ links 2 their cougardb profiles, 3) non-coug related pg, 4) contacts pg...so ppl can contact 4 info 2 join, etc, 5) pg on upcoming meets, 6) pg w/ pics of past meets, shows, etc................any other ideas, guys?? that's all i can think of right now.

OK guys and gals. Website is up. Currently being hosted at a temporary server. I hope to be running my own server byt the end of the summer. Yes i did pay for the domain registration and stuff. If you are serious about donating to help get us some "real" server space and cool features just email me at silver2002cat@hotmail.com. Also to let you know i'm currently looking at options to give us all email addresses like yourname@tornadoalleyneco.com , just kind of depends on what server we use. No nothing against the boards at all. Some ppl just prefer privacy.
I liked the email also. I'm going to check on some things tonight and get back to you guys.

but on the serious side... haha.......... it looks like it's gonna b 'bout $8/month.. that will give us e-mail acct's 4 every-1 & 200mb of space. eric will post when he knows everything though, i put him in charge of this! :)

I think ya need a flash intro like a scene from Twister......have it tear up the screen, then pause for a few seconds and welcome you to the main page :)

it's $8 flat....so it would b $96 4 the whole yr, which is how we'd pay 4 it. so it would b, so far, like $9 a person that would cover the whole yr. but if some ppl don't wanna donate, that's fine...& we'll cover as best as possible. i'm a broke college kid, there's times when i don't even have $9!! haha..so i understand :)

i went to the site just now and it got me all excited. Ill try and set my paypal account back up and then send some on its way. I think i can manage a little more that 10 bucks.

yeah, eric's been working on it off & on 4 the past couple of days. it still needs a lot of stuff though! he's looking 4 some cool buttons 2 use 4 the top banner. & i told him that a collage of all of r coug's pics would b cool 4 the banner, behind the tornado alley neco title thingy. & then when we get a group pic, we could use that. also, i wanted like the front of a coug 4 the buttons & when u moused over it the headlights flashed....& when u were in that section, the headlights would stay on. it's kinda hard 2 explain...haha...
the e-mail addy's should b set-up soon...also. we've got the info@tornadoalleyneco.com 1 set-up, that's just 4 general info, etc.
I like the headlight idea. I have some pics of stuff if you want to use any.
