Me Vs a Jetta

Well, me and two friends were commin back from hangin out and we pull up to a light and its about 1am. So im all jokin around with my pals sayin "Oh yea i bet they wanna race" then i make the comment about the girl driving so they woulnt. Well the guy in the passanger seat flags me and asks if i want to race. Well by the time he said that the light had just turned green so i had no time to rev my engine to a good rpm befopre i drop the clutch. Well its the 3rd day of me driving manual so the car practically stalls but to fully. But by this time the atx jetta was gone and i jsut didnt bother cathcing up. Bah. My pride is now lower, thank you jetta!

No, i dont know. And i practically cought up to it with the f*** up, so i definatly know ill win. Well i hope i do. It didnt look like it had any mods. it did look likeit had interior neons, but that was about it.

I roasted a N/A 2-liter in my Saturn station wagon :rolleyes: It's my dog-haulin' car, but I held out for a 5-speed and put the basic brathers on it, so it ain't slow :biggrin: 124 stock horses go a long way on a car as light as a Saturn. But really, the Cougar puts it to shame.

I have a 2.0 N/A golf (5 speed) and a 2.5L V6 cougar (ATX). Me and my brother ran against each other me in the golf, him in the cougar. Head to head I had a good jump, all the way up to 3rd gear. then he had me. 2.0s vw dont have much power output but they can be quick when the right mods are added.

I'm with you there, KrauT. If I had to pick a new car to mod, it would probably be a VW- but I'd start with the 1.8T. That's an awesome little mill...
