Anyone know how to proceed here to get rid of it/dismiss it. Never got one before.
I think you need to get a slip stating that you got it taken off and they will drop the fine. Maybe, I don't know. If you know a tint guy real good have him write you up a phony slip.
What town did you get it in?

You can either have a shop remove the windows (the only ones that are illegal are the two front ones) and give you a slip, get a phony slip, or pay the fine. Regardless, you'll have your plate on file as being pulled for tints, so the cops won't be as lienent in the future, especially if you don't have the tints removed.

I still haven't heard back from Amherst town court on the status of my ticket. I sent them a slip from my dealership showing it was removed, along with a letter and my ticket. I am hopeful that it will be dropped, but who knows.......
