I know that cougars cannot handle a lot of power or have much room for an engine swap. i also know that their is much difficulty in engine swaps even when facing a smaller engine. BUT....would it be possible to fit one of the suburu engines either the 2.0 2.5 or 3.0 engines into a cougar with a suburu tranny? thanks guys! -Erik

The fastest quarter time...I think from what I've heard....is the low 15's....

AtomicInternet runs mid 14s all day long.... if he had a better suspension and maybe an LSD i'm sure he would be in the low 14s easy....
i'm expecting mid to low 14s when i go to the track next month...
the force induction 3.0 guys should be in the 13s easy... mind you at this point here, traction is a much bigger concern now

No. :) Well, yes maybe. With assloads of money.
It's cheaper to fit a V8 into a Cougar (and it has been done).
