Possible Meet This Saturday

Just wanted to throw this out for all who are interested. Mary (MetallicaCougs) is coming to the Nashville area this Saturday, so that I can install her lowering springs before she goes to Cougar Fest the following week. I thought this would be an opportune time to have some NECO members over to help out, or just hang out and have a good time with other Cougar owners. We can do some other mods too, if anyone needs anything done. We will probably meet at my parents house, as they have a garage, most of my tools and my house is still under construction. If anyone is interested in coming, post or PM me. I'll give directions to those wanting to attend.

It will be near Nashville. The Zip is 37167 if you want to look up driving directions to get a general idea. MetallicaCougs is coming from Evansville, IN and I believe she would have to drive through the area you live in to get here. Maybe the two of you could caravan or play follow the leader??? Anyhow, it would be good to have you and any other cougar owners to come by and hang out for the day.

Sounds good. If everyone's up for it...and the weather holds...The Bellevue cruise in is Sat night from 5 till 9. A bit of a drive from Mindtrips house...but they usually have a good turnout.

Well this Saturday I'm leavin for KY. I'm leavin here at bout 6am, so I'll probably be up there bout 2ish I'm guessin......I might stop if someone can meet me close to the interstate.....

Mindtrip... i look up direction to get to nashville and its about 430 miles..lol...
i doubt ill be able to make the trip because thats just too much driving.. if i wasnt a broke ass college kid id get hotel...lol

Louisville is about 75 minutes from me. I would say we could hook up on the Interstate, but we'll be taking different ones in.

You might want to check into land of lincoln chapter for our caravan to VA Beach. Gateway and Land of Lincoln and a Wisco peep will be coming to my house Wednesday night and then we will be heading out for VA Beach about 5am. We will be taking 64 all the way there, do you want to hop on the caravan when we go thru Louisville?

Do you mean meet you close to the interstate and follow some one in? I don't know what your travel schedule is, but if you have spare time, I am sure that one of us could meet you off the interstate and bring you in to the mod party. I would like to meet you and see your car in person.

If someone could do that I could get there number and call when I'm in that area and just follow them to your house....how far is it from ....damn I think it's I-24, can't really tell........I can send ya the link on Mapquest if ya need to see where I'm gonna be goin through at.......

Loyalty, glad to hear that you are coming I-24. I live approximately 3 miles the Sam Ridley exit off of 24. You'll have to pass the exit before you make it to Nashville's I-65. I would assume that you are going to be getting here pretty damn late, since you are coming from FL at 6am. Then again, I don't know where Tampa is.

From what I got on Mapquest, it says 11 hours....from Tampa, to Nashville....BUT it also says that is should be 14.5 hours from here to Louisville....last year I made it in 12. What time is this whole mod meet goin down anyway???

Nashville is about 2 hours from Louisville. I think we are looking at the meet starting around 2p.

Alright, we have a probem now. My parents decided to wait and tell me that this is a bad weekend for them. So it looks like we are going to have change locations. Unless anyone else has a better place in mind, we are going to have to move it to my house. The house is within two weeks of completion and has a 2 car garage to work in. Call me for directions. Mary, since you are coming a couple of hours before everyone else, just meet me at the original location. Sorry for the inconvenience. I wish they would have told me this earlier in the week.
