Thanks guys for the help on installing the five point harness.

I put one harness on each front seat by bolting the lab belts to the floor, and used the seat bolts for the submarine belts. I have the y-type shoulder harness mounted to the rear seat mounting hardware.. I'm not sure I like the y-type shoulder harness and may change it later for the conventional two straps..

I still have the complete use of the original safety belts and airbags for the daily commute. The new belts either un-clip (Lab belts) or fold out of sight.

Pictures to come a little later.. Edit: Can't wait to get back on the track and not have to try to turn and hold myself in the seat at the same time. I did both front seats for the occasional visitor or instructor (not that I need any driving tips).. :disgust:

in other words.. buckling up one buckle is better than five when you don't have too.. Wouldn't people look strangely at you sitting in traffic wearing a full race harness?

Besides wearing a racing harness in a stock car CAN be dangerous. If the car hasn't been reinforced, and you accidentaly become involved in a roleover your dead. The reason is that the roof is going to cave some, but the harness will not let you slip to the side as the roof gives.
Anyway glad you got it installed it looks great!

Yes...yes they do. the looks I get are priceless. I LOVE it when someone takes a casual look over...then gives themselves whiplash to make sure they're not seeing things.

If you really want to draw attention, wear your helmet while on the street.
