I was at a light and 2 more cougars pull up next to me, im in the middle lane of a 3 lane road. a red one with speakers and tweeters where gauge pods go, it was bumpin pretty loud, then another one, red pulled up to my right and had 2 chicks in it!!!!!!! So were all at a light and im talking to the girls saying nice car, kinda looks like mine but red, and she smiled and said "yup" kinda. Im guessing these 2 cougars were 99-00 because of the rear bumpers. Anyways light turns green and i just accelerate slowly and they both look like their gunning it so i press the gas, 1/2 mile later were all at 60 mph i guess. Then a special edition silver frost came out and was following me, he was bone stock and automatic like me. Needless to say, my auto can hang with the special edition. =[

That's rare! 4 cougars all together. I think I would holla at the ladies too. Good decision.

woke up with a headache, stayed up til 7 in the morning... went to work late at 12:15, work got rained out so i left around 1:30, taking 4 more advil, gonna party again tonight!

The Special Edition Cougars are exactly the same as any other cougar stock from the factory. If its stick, thats the only way it will be faster than a normal auto cougar.

it was an automatic 02 with the roush wing? i want to say c2 but didnt get to see what it was. i hang with it, only thing diff is the hood scoop and wing, but i have the wing now!

ye thats what i ment, about the auto being slower than the manual, sorry i didnt elaborate on that.
