i emailed the webmaster and we are now recognized there too :D all MUST go and change profile :P im kinda lonely on there...also whoever is doing the webpage might find this nice...here is the guy's email to me

I added the chapter for you. Let me know when you have a chapter website

so I can add the link. Also, let me know if you'd be interested in using

cougardb.com profiles on your site. You can check out NJ Neco and FL

Neco's sites. (njneco.com and flneco.com) They use their own "look and

feel" but pull the car profiles off cougardb.com so everything is

unified and allows members easy access to changing their mods and pics.

If you want to discuss this kind of integration let me know. Its pretty

easy to do once you give me a template to build the profile page from.

Hey all and congrats on the new chapter!

I was just strolling by and saw this thread. Thanks for the information for CougarDB.com aka CougarDatabase.com. We're still adding a lot of new features and tweaking the ones we have so bare with us. If you have any problems you can email me (caenus@bellsouth.net) or AIM (caenus). You can also PM temujin77 if you can't get a hold of me.

If you have any ideas for pulling different kinds of data from CougarDB for your chapter website let me know. Something like a page with details of Tornado Alley Neco members similar to our Car Stats and Mods Stats pages.

As for the integration, if you don't understand what I mean take a look at the following links. We can customize your member page to anything you want.

My profile at cougardb: http://www.cougardb.com/car.php?id=caenus

My profile at FLNECO: http://www.cougardb.com/flnecomember.php?id=caenus

Once again congrats and we look forward to working with you guys.

If you run into any problems creating your profile, please feel free to PM me or Caenus, we will make sure to get everything working for you.

I'm going to try to fix some bugs this weekend.

As for the two links. The first one is the general CougarDB profile, the other is a custom page so that it matches the FLNeco pages. Both are pulling the data that they display from the database. So once you login to cougardb and make a change either a mod or picture, it will update on both pages automatically.

Finally got mine up and running. Not sure why IE didn't like the login procedure, but it didn't. In the process, I ended up with a better browser. :) If anyone else is having problems, you might try getting Mozilla Firebird (just google search it). Seems to work like a charm for me, and also is a tad more streamlined.

Glad you like Firebird (used to be called phoenix). Its basically based off Mozilla, but the project was designed to streamline and remove the bloat from Mozilla. Mozilla of course is basically Netscape Navigator after Netscape made the code open source. However Netscape for their last few releases basically just uses mozilla code.

Anyway, I'm going to continue to look at it and try and figure out why its not working in IE in some places. I can't find a common similarity between people that are having problems. If any more of you have any problems, don't hesitate to let me know.
