Joys of Mainz?

:cool: Hi, My son starts at Mainz University in October. Apart from the joy I will have driving him there, and finding out what the Cougar is really capable of doing, what is the City like?:shrug::slap::shrug:

Hi !
I don't live in Mainz, but I spent a lot of time there. Due to the fact, that the university is there, there are many Bars and Restaurants with good food, drinks and prices. Also the area around Mainz has a lotto show. The vinerys are a good place to go and have a good vine. Frankfurt and Wiesbaden are very close. The Rhine offers also a lot of fun and relaxing. I am sure your son will get a good introduction from other students.
