design 1 would look really good if it was silver on a clear background

3 looks better than 4 with the cougars head in the .COM rather than in the COUGAR these two would look better as silver on a black background

It would be computer cut from vinyl, probably on silver and there is no background - so yes, suppose it is clear. Could also be produced in different sizes and for application on the inside or outside of the window.

Design 4 for me, although the pic layout sequence would have been better if they had followed numerically - less confusing. Thanks for getting it started Ron.

Well i've gone for design 1, seeing as tho i drew it up, i know 2 is similar, but i prefer my typeface choice as it's closer to the cougar wording on the back of the car!

i also know a company who produce the vinyl stickers, you can have long life span vinyl or short lifespan, you could have it reverse printed so you can put it on the inside of your window or print it normally so you place the vinyl on the outside, i'll have to get a few quotes for you guys on all the different variations and qualities of vinyl

:biggrin: Just back from Holidays so missed most of the correspondance. I like number 2 followed by number 1 (3&4 with ford on them I wouldn't have).

I assume that they are rear window stickers, so put me down for one

I am going to go for, in order of pref:

1/ i like the subtle text, put me down for a couple of these, a small one might also look good on the front wing behind the wheel,jap motor style!

2/ very similar to 1, but i think the text is a bit too big.

3-4/ not really keen, sorry!

Like i mentioned in one of the other badge/sticker threads - I think we should try to use the same font as used on the Cougar lettering on our bootlids (whichever design wins).

Does anyone know the name of the font so I can try and find it?

The typeface used for the cougar text on the back of the car is called

Neuzeit Grotesk, i have a copy on my MAC and can change the logo artwork when necessary!

There are more designs on the Club badges thread. This is all getting confusing to amny threads on the same thing.
But here are my quick ideas.

just my opinion but i like design one that much im having three made a big one for the rear window in black and then two on the side rear windows in silver(too show up against my tints) if we(the club)pick another design then ill have those on the car if they look as nice as the ones i have on at the moment i will take pics of the stickers on the car so people can see the best design(in my opinion) on a car!!!:biggrin:

The only reason I thought the current logo should be changed is because the writing cannot be read from any distance.

I had asked a local printer to mock up and quote on a design previously put forward.

mike as stated i am having a few of design one made up i will post pics of them ON my car so people can see it personally i think that design looks real good and is only one colour can ber used on all club stuff BUT .....at the end of the day damo or yourself has to make a decision on a design to push this forward otherwise it will go on and on and on...you get the idea!!

Hi,

I like design 1 & 2. It would be a nice touch to use the same font as the badges but I think the text in design 1 is overpowered by the image - it doesn't stand out enough - just my opinion...

Another thing... as a former calibra owner (no flames please - I have seen the light) I can't help but notice that it is similar to the logo used by www.clubcalibra.com - and they use it for window stickers as well.
