STUPID STUPID STUPID I'm A MORON

I was taking my cd player out but as you know I have to put the stick down into like 1st to get it outta the way, well I had the car turned twice (not fully on) and shifted down there but it made a popping scraping grinding noise when it went in and does it into 2nd and 1st now. What did I f uck up? I'm still under warranty are they going to cover this even though If f ucked it up myself??? My dad yelled at me enough for shifting when the car wasn't on so please, no yelling.

I dunno what the problem is... I always shift gears when my car is not on (Like putting it in 1st when parked), and it still shifts just fine.. It probably isn't your fault. Just send it in and explain exactly what happened..
