1. I now am the proud owner of a squeaky right rear speaker, Im assuming that this means that it is blown, am I right.

2. Why dont the drink holders in the front or back have a drain hole? I had a frozen drink bottle in the rear holder and once it thawed and got warm during my class and returned to a half inch of water in the holder.

3. Anyone know what the thickness of a sub box walls that is made of fiberglass should be?

1. If u smoke your speakers they can squeak.

2. If there were drain holes then where would the water go.

3. as long as it is a little over 1/2 inch thick it should not flex. what kind of sub are u wanting to put in it. I have a easy way for the fiberglass box.

1. Yesterday when my dad was down I had the radio turned off and it was still a squeaking coming from that area so he thinks that it may be a strut, Im about to 70k mi what is the life span of a strut. So I have to jack up the car and see what I can see

2. run a tube down through the floor or something

3. Just wondering, I dont have any plans for this in the immediate future but if I got a deal, I might change my mind, but I was thinking about a 10" for each side and making a box that pointed from the back of the trunk towards the rear seat at like a 45 degree angle

1. Life span of a strut depends on your current suspension set up. I have GC coil overs and I have to change them every year or year and a half. Most struts on a stock springs won't last more than 75k miles. When a strut goes bad, the vehicle will no longer ride smooth and will have excessive bounce when going over a normal road bump. Unless this occuring, I would rule out the struts being the cause of the squeak. It is probably a bushing making the noise. I have yet to hear a speaker squeak. When I blew mine they always distorted and sounded loose and floppy.

2. That is a great idea. To run a small tube through the floorboard for drainage.

I figured out what the squeak was. When I was measuring for the strut bar I pulled up the backmolding by the seat and apparently I didnt get it pushed back enough. I got in it today and leaned on it and it snapped twice and no more squeaks!

I was so glad after I heard those snaps and cranked up the radio and nothin, struts are the last thing that I need to have go out because yoiu just cant put stock ones on when you replace them and I dont have that money right now. I should have the rear strut bar done tonight and installed tomorrow if all goes well
