I called the hotel earlier tonight to find out about this 'overbooked' situation. I was told that anyone that has reserved a room, especially those that have reserved prior to the first of June, are basically guaranteed it. She explained to me that they really aren't 'overbooked', but there are between 5 and 10 rooms at all times that are considered managers hold, so that they can be released if there is an issue.
Just thought you might be interested, especially if all this talk about possibly not getting a room was bothering any of you (it was for me).
