So Ron (excelcier) comes over today. We gutted his precats. Then he pulls out his osciloscope to put on the crank position sensor of my (non-functional) car so we can test it. Before putting the scope on the sensor wires, he first puts the circuit tester on there to get a voltage so he can set the proper range on the scope.
I turn the key, and my car started up.
runs like ****, which i attribute to possibly very badly fouled plugs and a leak in the fuel rail at one of the injector seats (you can smell the fuel).
So i get this Friday off, i already planned on changing the rear struts in my tempo... looks like i'm doing the tempo then ripping the UIM off the cougar, cleaning out all the plugs, fix the fuel rail to injector seat leak... and turn it over :)
There is nothing in this world that can wipe the grin on my face right now :biggrin:
