i was wondering if anyone knew if i were to replace my center console and all the jazz in the middle (up to the ash tray) would it be possible to swap it wit one of the newer style ones??? (you know so i can have a cup holder that actually works... anyone wit a 99 will agree wit that) and if it will fit...does anyone know where i can get it from????

Yeah, you can change the 99 center consol for the 2001+
Whatcha wanna do is get in contact with Gary Starr or hit up a junk yard. COntact TDFord and he can get you all the part numbers you'll need...or call Gary, hes an awesome guy and will help you out for sure. Check Here --> Ford Parts Online (http://www.fordpartsonline.com)
Also.....sorry bout getting back to ya, been busy..perhaps next week i'll come look at the tranny if you're still having issues.
