View Full Version : Anyone have any info on Pittsburgh dragway park?
I was thinking about going up tomorrow, but I have never been to this facility before, and I can't seem to get any info from the track itself. This is what I am concerned about. The webpage for the track says tomorrow is test and tune and also gamble race. Says gates open at 5 test and tune 6-10 followed by gambler. I just want to take my car up just for some practice, but am unsure if these test and tunes are just for modified cars, or do others with stock cars take advantage of these test and tunes? I don't even really know what a Gamble race is? ANY help would be appreciated.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are test and tune. Anyone can go up and get some times. I think it's $15 for test and tune now. The Gamblers race is towards the end of the day on Tuesdays which is a single elimination bracket race where the winner takes all. You wouldn't want to do this, but you can still just run for times.

The guy called me from the track today, AFTER the gates opened. He was nice and apologized for not getting back to me. Anyone interested in going down sometime. I can't do it now for a couple weeks, but would be fun anyway.

I'm always up for racing. I've run only once this year because my clutch is pretty much shot, but I want to go again to see how much I improve with my new cam. I also want to run my wifes GTP now that I've done a few mods. Let me know if you ever think you want to go and I can try to meet you there.
Ohh definatly going to go, so maybe soon after the 26th of July, because I am getting ready to work a 14 day straight stretch, and then I could do it.
