I got the mounting plates made for the rear strut bar out of some scraps that were layin around but Ive had just enough money to pay for gas for the last two weeks so Im gonna get some steel tubing tomorrow when I get paid and Ill get it welded and painted on mon. I made templates so that if this works out right we can make more!!

Since you've guys last seen it, new guages and painted dash (I don't think anybody saw them installed before they left sunday.) and my door panels recovered.
BTW Kyle I only have some small pieces of it left I got it in the trunk if you want to see if you can use it. I will say this tho, recovering door panels is a huge pain in the butt. I am a pretty mellow person, but by the end of it my patience was gone and all I could fantasize about was what it would sound like if I just picked them up and threw them thru the window. That is seriously no joke either.
i did an aluminum fuel door, i change my locking horn, and pretty soon i will be doing cat back and gutting precats

got the strut bar in tonight and it looks great and works too. The weather didnt cooporate with me on taking a pic of it and my garage is dark but Ill get one up tomorrow. It is painted duplicolor mirage blue/purple/red, which is what I want to do the dash and stuff in as well, soo I need to get that taken apart next.

You cant really see the color change that well from the pic but the lighting was crappy outside still, and now it is downpouring again. I welded the two loops on there to use as tiedowns with the ones in the back of the trunk. Dont know how well they actually work but they are different from any other bar that Ive seen. Im thinking about making a front bar but I havent worked out the connections from the bar to the towers yet. http://www.fastcougar.com/forums/attachments.jaged rsb1.jpg

I did a new mod last night...It is called the rip your front airdamn off in the flood and then see put it in the median to have it ran over.
It got yanked off last night in the water when I was going home and was cracked right down the center. I went to pick it up this morning since I threw it to the side of the rode since I wouldn't fit in my car and it was busted to hell. So Now I no longer have the full Razzi kit.:banghead:

School got done on fri and before I got home I had started to take off my interior trim to change it. I was waiting for the GF in the parking lot and just started taking stuff off. Now all I have to do is change the headliner to black, do the visors (havent figured out how to do the color change yet) and paint the overhead gauge panel. I used the krylon fusion plastic paint and it worked out great. Best part is, is that the color looks stock. If you didnt know any better you would never know

Hey Metallica ... couldnt get you to slow down enough to say hi at CF so ... hi
Personaly ( I know I'm not in your chapter but this is why I started reading the post to see what everyone is doing to there rides ) I have been short on cash so I have been slowly gutting the interior and painting out parts here and there aswell as working on a side panel recover and seat swap. Still dont have my rear screens in or my new subs or panel. cant afford the remote, motor , or fiberglass panel yet for the subs.

I tried a bunch of different spots and these are the 2 best picks I could get of the color change. After I pick up brandons strut bar Im picking up some roush sides from illinicougar in mt vernon on sun. Its slowly getting there . Mary what was involved in recovering your roof, did you peel off the stock and use that shell or just go straight to the metal that is one of my next steps and Im curious. I also want to sick a neon in the middle of the rsb but I want to get the other things done first before I buy more stuff

I didn't roof, just the sunroof. I think it definitely depends on what type of material you are using. Vinyl I would definitely go down to the metal you will get a cleaner look.

well I got the strut bar from brandon of fri in coulumbus, went ot a wedding in jasper, and got roush side from illinicoug on sun in mt vernon IL. Long weekend in the car but anyway painted the bar yesterday and put it in today, 3 broken drill bits and 1 twisted off screw latter here is what I got. http://www.fastcougar.com/forums/attachments/jaged oem bar.jpg
I cant believe the difference it makes on the recovery time after turning. Next are the brake calipers on fri and the dash on mon. My gf thinks Im obsessed with the car, and I tell her its part of being in my family, its a sickness men in my family have

Here is the painted dash, the latest in the line of mods, followed crispys how to, piece of cake. Only probs were I lost the screw that holds the right defroster down somewhere in the dash, and when I was prepping the ashtry it fell off the hook and hit the ground and cracked a little, put some super glue on it, all better. I have one small spot to fix left of the rear defrost button, but that can wait. Was going to paint the radio face, but once it was apart i didnt want to mess with it and screw it up, thats the only thing I dont like about it. The aluminum gauge bezel was a pain in the a$$ to get on because it didnt fit around the temp or gas gauge so I had to attack it with a xacto knife. I bet that I have more miles than anyone in Hoosier neco and my car is only 2 yrs old('01) got it brand new with 150mi and look at it now
