as the title states...they really bug me. i was considering removing them but i just wanted some other opinions on whether or not this is a terrible idea

Well, in the front you'll expose the engine bay to dirt & water spray because of the openings behind them. The rears...dunno, probably just get dirty.
Thing is, they'll be exposed to constant rock chipping & probably start rusting fast.

I would leave them on...or paint them. The only part I took off was the balck plastic shield that below the radiator...between the front fender and engine. If you get mesh and neons...ya can't beat it since the neons go straight down to the street :thumbsup:
