Anyone know how to change the effects of font. For example, make the outline of the font be on fire or covered in ice.

Try dynamicdrive.com (http://www.dynamicdrive.com). They more than likely have what you are looking for.

Willie, the best way to get what you want for font, especially for titles and such, is to make it in another program and then just upload it as a graphic....

Use photoshop with the Eye Candy 4.0 Plugins, very simple once installed.

 but it also takes forever and day and a LOT more thinking
Thinking = bad ---- having a program think and do the work for you , while making you look like you worked hard = Good
