Hey Guys,
At the title says I bought rims and tires, but of course there was a few problems.
It all started when I realized my driver fog light was out, my wife and I went out to dinner and on the way home we stopped by a local car shop. On the way out, we got a flat. We pulled into the South Shore Mall parking lot and I changed the tire. I check out tires for the car a Sears, and Price Club, either nobody stocks the tire or they want like $162 a tire and of course I need to get all four.
So I start scouring the internet, and come across this idea that for the same price of all four tires, I could get rims and tires.
I check out this web site WheelGuyz.com (http://www.wheelguyz.com), and they have some pretty cool stuff.
I decide to getthese rims (http://www.wheelguyz.com/shop/details.asp?prodid=shinwa&cat=25&path=3,25) after a long decision process. I call the place up and they don't have them in stock.
He tell me he hasthese rims instead (http://www.wheelguyz.com/shop/details.asp?prodid=MSR113Special&cat=27&path=), and they are in stock. So of course, I need to decide do I want gunmetal rims on my black car. I decide to get them, I call him up and close the deal. He said the rims would be at my house in 3-5 days.
On the fourth day I call up and say "my tracking number is not working, and I have no rims yet, what is the deal?"
"Oh, that purchase was voided" he says
"You still have my money!!" I say "What the f*&% is this?"
He decides to give me These rims finally (http://www.wheelguyz.com/shop/details.asp?prodid=Trident&cat=39&path=3,39)
So for the same price I got better rims. They get to my house, and I start to put them, and the lugs don't have a key. So I can put them on.
I go and buy a key at the same car shop where this all started. I get home and put the rims on and everything is great. I drive the car and vibrate all over the road.
The next day i get the car alligned and go to another place to get the tires re-balanced. We leave the car, and go to the mall. When we get back the mechanic shows me a new key to fit the lugs. I go to try it out, and notice they they scratched 2 of my rims.
I am so pissed at this point!!
The owner plans to get my rims re-finished. Today, Monday, I am bringing the car back so he ca switch the rims to my old ones and send the new ones out.
