cougar window stickers?

:biggrin: Did anything become of the club window stickers etc,and was a design thought of, Only i tried talking (only said hello, next 2 them in petrol station) to a cat owner the other day and they looked at me like i was a freak! (don't laugh) Maybe a distinguishing sticker or badge would have helped..Me :thumbsup:

nope nothing come of it to much debate decision needs to be made and thats that loads of people have an opinion but with so many ideas no one wants to pick a design!!!!:shrug:

I think the circular sticker was pretty good but at the end of the day who will decide?, maybe the moderator....

im guessing mike or more likely damo as he is the founder?:shrug: but i would think its difficult to pick a design when some are saying yeah looks cool and others are saying urgh dont wont that on my car!!! rock and a hard place springs to mind!!
someone should start a thread with a poll two designs to choose between most votes wins?

why don't we put all designs forward, then each week, design with the least votes is discarded until we get down to the last and winning design to be made up as a sticker, we did it for Walsall's home kit for this season, so a club sticker should be easy enough to resolve

Liked the window sticker used by JSCullin. Anyone up to doing a design based on this using the words UKCougar.com ? I'll have a go myself but I'm not a pro.

Perhaps JSCullin could send me the artwork he used, i'd be happy to doctor it to a ukcougar badge if he has no quarms about us plagiarizing his concept if he has no objection.

:thumbsup: I think the' best by far' would be Cougaruk's + Timjford's design's mixed into each other ..to see what i mean look at Tim's link and picture Cougaruk's cat head where the wheel is .Also the UK-NECO would fit fine!!!!!!!Can anyone agree with me here so the moderators can get some sort of decision please :banana:

Please see my comments under the original thread "club badges" there is a design Done by flamenco assassin which most people liked. This is the one i think we should use as it will be cheap and easy to produce, and look cool.

Lets have an end to this debate and get something sorted!!

So highlander, this attempt i've just knocked together wouldn't interest you then, thought this made a good sticker and if you wanted a sunscreen we could just use the wording with the cougars head replacing either the O in cougar or the one in com. I know some places that produce vinyl lettering and logos, could ask them for prices and colour choices, was thinking silver and white personally, but that's up to a club decision i guess.

I did a Google search for car sticker suppliers, seem to be plenty about although minimum order quantities could be a deciding factor....for instance This one (http://www.windowsticker.co.uk/index.htm) has a 100 minimum....

These can be produced in small runs, cut from vinyl in any signs shop such as 'Signs Now' at quite a low cost.

Sorry cougaruk I didn't mean to upset you about your sticker design I think it is cool and would have one on my car. I was just trying to get people to agree on a design so we can start to get it produced.
The new design you have come up with does look good but i think it is just copying the americans design and personally i think it looks more like a puma.
why don't we use the concept 2 design with ukcougar.com written next to it. Then we will have a symbol which everyone will recognize and the writing will advertise the club. It could be done with a black background and silver writing or the other way round.

So far we have only had the views from several club members, what does the rest think, are they interested in the badges or stickers or is it just a few of us!!
