I took one look at the rubber mount when I got it out and said, "what the hell were they thinking?"

going out now to test it out. Hopefully i'll be impressed.

Mconn, was yours red? I was expecting it to be black and almost near hard plastic in texture, but instead i got a red set that was more plyable than the rubber already in the mount. It does improve drivability slightly, however.

As fer 1/4 mile times, supposedly these are a good way to nearly eliminate wheel hop, if that means anything to you. I didnt try it out but I didnt feel enough of a difference to be sure i wouldnt get wheelhop

i don't know which one you got, mine was black. It was a tad soft but I wouldn't say very soft rubber. I've noticed I can now spin my tires through first gear, before those attempts ended in wheelhop...

Mine were a red urethane, and were fairly flexable, though I think they provide greatly increased stiffness since they are made to withstand more of a rotational force, and those thick sections should help a lot. I haven't really launched it much since then, but I can tell a fair difference in the rain. If I drop the hammer in first from a roll, I will just spin with no wheel hop, unlike before.
