New fenders

What, if anything, happened with the new style fenders that the guy won in Indy at the HCKC? Just wondered what they looked like?

ummm The X-1's :shrug: I wasn't there so I'm not sure...but just an idea

They're not the X-1s.. they're a new type of fender from Aerogear. I don't know if we're suppose to say what kinda fenders they are (They sound Friggin Cool as Hell!) but they haven't been made yet, but I think he will be the first person to get them once they are in production..

Someones gott have a pic of them somewhere from HCKC. Your not talking about the ones RACERX had on his car are you? If so they arent new fenders, he just used Buick vents, CATerina has them on his cougar as well.

Its ok if you dont like them... If I listened to some of the comments on here my car prob wouldnt be what it is today.

The blinkers have been moved to the daytime running lights. As for them being functunal yes and no. I have a pipe from a Focus ran into my fender wells for cold air.

Are you talkin bout the racing series fenders??? At Bash, they gave away a gift certificate for the CF racing series fenders......I thought they were just z-3's but CF....I'm not 100% sure, maybe try pming Ohsofastcougar, he's who won them.....

The Buick port hole fenders aren't the ones that Aerogear is making (well.. sorta.. I think.. ) It's called like generation 2 fenders or something like that.. It's gonna be MUCH sweeter than the Buick Vents (At least from what I heard of it)

just a shot in the dark...but the "generation 2" predator hoods were cf so it stands to reason the new fenders will be too. i'm sure craig or krazykustomz would know...ill call myself tomorrow if no one answers...3 day vacation wooo

Canadas Cougar (I think that was his name) won them at HCKC... they are new fenders from Aerogear.. they feature INTERCHANGEABLE inserts...

they sound cool as hell.. inverted vents.. CF vents... and so forth!

Crispy's got the right guy. I talked with him the week after HCKC at Can-Am. I believe he said something like he won't get them until July or so. I don't think he's signed up on these forums.

His name is John and he hasn't gotten them yet. Last time I talked to him he hadn't heard anything on them either.

I believe I heard that he will be getting them when they are released by aerogear (that's what I remember from HCKC) so when he finds out about them, we do too

Talked to James about them at Cougarfest... they aren't even done yet...

Should be soon though! by the end of August, Mr.CanadasCougar will have them in his hands apparently :)

Aerogear will be releasing 2 new fenders, like Crispy said one will have interchangable inserts where the "fins" are on a Z3, the other are OEM CF fenders.
