Neco Newbie, so please excuse me if I have overlooked a similar question. I have a 99 cougar and I want it to look alittle more aggressive than it does now. I would like to put an entire body kit on, but this is also my every day driver, so I don't want to spend a ton and make it a show car. Just a drift front, or maybe the widebody front would be cool. But here is my question. Is my car going to look stupid if it just has a front, and no sides and rear. Any help, and especially pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes...It will look stupid because the front bumper will be lower than the sides and rear...Just will look silly! Just get the whole kit!

as cheap as the entire drift kit is, there's no reason not to just wait a lil bit to save up the cash for the entire thing. i paid almost twice as much for my dragon z kit than custom cougars has on the drifts.

Yes it would look very stupid. Especially just a SW front or widebody front, you need the whole kit.

Yeah I agree....save and get the drift kit, since its pretty cheap now......figure $1000 or so, and you'll have a sweet ass lookin daily driver
agreed. it will look wierd. even when people put a front and rear but no sides it looks bad. Save up for a whole kit.. or mix different kits parts. check the For Sale forums. Theres always kit parts up for sale.

Ok, fine, I guess I'll just wait til I can scratch up the dough for a whole kit. I guess the ground clearance issue, and the fact that most of the kits I like are fiberglass, kind of scares me for winter driving. Plus there are quite a few steep driveways around. How good of a product are these fiberglass front bumpers? I mean, if I have a drift front w/o being lowered, and I scrape on a driveway, is this thing going to spiderweb. I guess Im just alittle paranoid to drop $1K and wreck it cause I snow plowed a 12 mile path to work. Thanks for the insight though fellas.

The Razzi kit is poly-urethane... I hear they're real durable......if ya wanted to do that instead of the drift front...
I have the Xtreme front, and I've learned to drive with it better then when I first got it....I cringe everytime I scrap

Yes it looks stupid. I have it along with a hood and z3 fenders. As soon as I get out of debt with pops I will be ordering sideskirts and a rear.
