How dark is your tint?

Hello, I am pickin up my coug tonight :) The first thing I would like to do is protect my interior from UV rays and keep it lookin cool with some tinted windows. I live the middle of Montgomery county, and cops can be a pain in the butt about front window tint.

So I want to get a feel for how dark every one's tint is and how often they get tickets, ect..

Should i get 35% 30% 25% or 20% for all the way around? I am not a fan of 2 diffrient % of tint for front and back.

I have 15% and there's only one cop that bothers me about it, so I avoid his township. No one else has said anything, not even state cops. Hope this helps, JJ

hmm im gonna go with -5% lol, u can't see in, and depending on how much sunlight is in the car it can be tough seeing it, i'll get pulled over average twice a mnth lol
just thought id comment since this was on tint, the best place to get away with it is in philly, but anything reflective you will have a problem anywhere u go

Yea In philly you can get away with alot of "illegal" things that has to do with stuff in or on your car. But I only have 1 more year of school down there so I'll be stuck in the burbs no point in getting some thing that will cause me to get pulled over.

ive had twenty percent blue mirror tint on my car for over a year now and not once have i ever been pulled over for it. even when i was pulled over for other things, they never said a word. ive driven in many counties and quite a few states with it. i mean to each his own, but like i said ive never had a problem. ( knock on wood).

I have 15% on all the windows and havent gotten bothered for it by cops yet and have been pulled over a couple times. My last cougar i had 5% on the rear windows and the front windows had 20% and neve got bothered for that either.

I think I could do 35% I have a hard time with bright headlights at night still.

I have 15% and that is the legal limit for PA. So if a cop gives ya a hard time you can tell him to go blow himself:)

Pennsylvania has Vague laws/statutes for tint limits.
But...Big But...there is a law about it. read up here.

well now that ive said i never had a problem with my tint, of course, i got pulled over. 109 dollar ticket. im gonna fight it though. thats not the worst part. being that i was a dick to him, he checked everything on my entire car. he got me for blue turn signals, blue reverse lights, obstructed third break light, underbody neons, not having my registration card signed, and for being in an area where drag racing occured. that wasnt event that day. i guess they had my tag on record. im gonna fight that one too. it turns out that the cops son was hit by a street racer the weekend before, so he figures he d take it out on me. well after the dust cleared, i pulled away with a pile of tickets adding to 635 dollars. yeah i know. all i can say i want to quote a famous song by nwa.............

underbodys are illegal ? I figured it was only if u had them on while driving?

Im pretty sure that underbody neons are only illegal if you drive around with them on. My friends have had theirs on in parking lots that had a cop in them and they didn't get in any trouble.
