BORING

i must say...this chapter has got to be one of the most boring chapters on this forum...we dont have any action goin on in our section, our turn out on cougardb.com is a whopping 5 or 6 cars, we dont even all have gateway neco decals to represent our chapter, im beginning to wonder if people even frequent this forum

The reason this chapter is so slow is because it's not bogged down with drama like half of the other sections are...

Gateway NECO decals are in the works, but it takes Bryan a few days to take the lousy scan we gave him and turn it into a decent decal...

I know of several members who check in here at least once, if not more, every day.

EDIT: The reason our turnout on CougarDB.com is only 5 or 6 cars is because our chapter only has 5 or 6 ACTIVE members in it. Every meet it's the same 5 or 6 people :(

i proudly represent the gateway neco :biggrin:. it's just that nobody really has anything to say i guess....... so what's everybody been up to? all i have done all week is lounge around in the swimming pool, lotsa fun btw! and i finally ordered my diamond plate floormats. that's about it for me.

the good news is that a friend of mine is opening an audio, performance. and accessories shop so i can get hella good deals for myself and others :D

I know im on here if not once a day, every other day. I just got a few sweet ass mods done. So thats why i've been out, but i finally got my car back today and cleaned her up, i will have pics VERY soon!!!

sorry i've been kinda busy also...working, having way 2 much fun this summer, & trying 2 get t & a neco up & going (taking 4-ever!!!!).

i wish i could make it 2 more gateway meets...may-b once school gets going again & i'm not working anymore...i'll have more time on the weekends. eric & i will head up there & meet w/ u guys :)

have you tried checking to see whats goin on in the chapters around you? the only reason i check gateways is because im out in the middle of bfe illinois and everyone is north 3 hrs, south 2 hrs, or east i dont know how long cause ive never ventured that way. i know its hard for everyone to try and get togther with things goin on in their own lives but maybe since you think its so boring you should try to do something about it.

I agree with citrus. If it's dead, then organize something and do something about it. Get a meet together. It's usually the same people doing it and the same people there. I'm sure most of us at least check the threads maybe once a day. It doesn't mean we are dead. You just joined this year, just give it time. There are things to do about once a month.
