I've searched but i still can't find the answer i'm looking for. What is the largest size component speaker that will fit in the stock opening, with the tweeter next to it, ie: both in one plate? I know that 5 1/4 components will fit, but will 6 1/2's? I have 5x7 Mb's in the rear, so i was looking for the best compliment for them. Thanks for any assistance.

A 6.5" coaxial will fit in the STOCK opening, but not a component set. I think the largest component set you could fit in the door (without trimming it out) would be the 5 1/4".

6x8 or 5x7 coax's fit, there are a few companies that make 6x8 components tho

Yeah I know it won't be the best for ultimate sound quality, but I would like it to remain stock appearance wise. I guess sleeper audio????????

Ok how should I run my components - should the amp setting be set to High or inbetween?
I set the rear coaxial for the HIGH setting on the amp
and offcourse the subs is on the low setting
this is my setup:
-upfront: memphis components (tweeter placed on side mirror location)
-rear: memphis coaxial
-amp(speakers): 4channel Memphis 50Wrmsx4
-sub: DiamonAudio 10" MacDaddy 500Wrms
-amp(sub): Audiobhan 2channel bridged 560Wrms
