Underbody neon question

I was just wondering if anyone has underbody neons on a stock body cougar (no body kit) and if so, do the tubes show?

Yes, the side tubes show if you're looking for them. Sideskirts cover them up though. The front and back neons aren't as obvious. There's basically no way to mount the side neons without them showing a little, but there is a groove going along each side that you can mount the tubes in. They fit perfectally and unless you're looking for them you won't see them. I mean you'll see them because you know they're there, but no one else really will.

my entire rear tube shows...couldn't hide it. As for the side tubes, I tried putting them in that groove you're talking about but they just slide out. You can put black electrical tape on the tube on the side that shows and then you won't see the tube from the side of the car.

The only tube you can see on my Coug is the front tube, because I just drilled into the front skid plate. The sides hide my side tubes, and I have secured my rear to the 5mph bumper in the back.
