Ok well the other thread is convoluted, so will a Mod please nuke it. This is the new official thread :)

Ok the mod list is kinda short... i'm sure you guys have some parts laying around waiting for an install, so just post it here and i'll update the list. As for Food.... figure we'll have about 12 people there.... 2 dogs and 2 burgers each should do it.... i'll supply all the condiments, but we'll still need refreshments be it pop or beer or more beer or all of the above....

Ok that's the list of food... I don't expect anyone person to spend their savings on this so just pick an item or two that you consider fair, reply here, and we'll take it off the list.


Directions to my house:

From the Bridge (EASIEST WAY):
Right when you clear custom, follow trafic and bend around the customs building (bending to the left). You will see a set of train tracks immediately and a McDonalds on your right. Follow this street for 2.2 miles. You will come upto E.C. Row Expressway. You want to take this road East (2nd on ramp). The on ramp is a 270* on ramp. Follow the expressway for a few miles, you need to get off at Walker Road exit (4th exit). It's about a 3 min drive on the expressway before you get to Walker Road. Anyhow go South on Walker (turn right). Follow Walker road for 6 city blocks. Essentially it will be the 3rd set of traffic lights you run into on Walker. The street name is Calderwood. On the corner you'll see a Penzoil oil change shop (yellow building, you can't miss it).

If using mapquest to map my house, please disregard the mapquest instructions from walker to calderwood (should be last step on mapquest), use theses instructions below instead:

Anyhow you need to turn right on Calderwood. The 2nd side street you go by has a nasty dip. If you are lowered or have a body kit... SLOW DOWN. After that there's another slight dip when you enter the sub-division. I'm the 4th house on the left once you enter the sub-division. My address is 1785 Calderwood, you'll see my cougar, rsx, and TempoDeVille in the driveway.

From the Tunnel (Hard Way):
Because you need to go through downtown windsor, and detroit and it's a ***** to do, get back on the lodge or i-75 and get your ass to the bridge....

If you mapquest my home, because it's a new sub-division, mapquest for some reason will make you turn Left from walker onto calderwood, when you should be turning right. Besides that small detail however mapquest will get you to my house (or the vicinity of).

actually I've got front sway bar bushings and a DMD

I'll make sure I bring all the stuff I need for the DMD (which should be.. DMD, new bolt, new washer, new drive belt, pulley puller (loaner), installer bolt and RTV sealant)

And put me down for 2 packs of burgers & some beer

Only other question... what is the earliest we can drop by... I kinda want to get started around 10am if thats ok

sweet. i'm staking claim on a nice piece of your driveway though cause i'll need to have the entire front end up in the air to drop the subframe bolts for the bushings. needed the passenger wheel off for the DMD, so it all works out.

anyways, spring/struts/precats and strut bar (front or rear) can for some parts be work on simotaneously, ie, jack front of car, get struts out, drop font manifold, start gutting it while putting struts back in, etc... heck if it's a rear strut bar it could be installed while all that is going on...

what kind of springs anyways? the painful kind ? (ie anything but ground controls :) ). Don't forget a compressor!!!!!

now that is a funny map. Puck i guess to get to your house you have to go through sarnia, turn around in toronto and then come to windsor :)

i live 30 seconds from the bridge on the canadian side, and it is 12 minutes or so to pucks house. just for reference.

I just did some Blue LED interior switches and if anyone wants theres done I will bring the needed supplies and Ill do them for you. $0.50 a piece for the Blue LED's.

FoxyD2003 - bring your car and boyfriend to windsor... it always help to have people who have done the EXACT same mod you are doing provide you with advice and such... we know where to run the wires and install the transformers for maximum life and reliability... this way here you won't have to figure it out yourselves...

they had to make the crank pulley bolt a non-standard thread. M12 x 1.5 my ass.... the standard threads for M12 are 1.25 and 1.75. Only M10 comes in 1.5 :(

so after a fruitless search today i did manage to find some M8's I can grind the head a bit on to use instead.

can someone bring a stock cd player with them ior if you have one in your car can i test something in my car with it? my radio just stoped working yesterday i think maybe the fuse is bad have yet to check but if it is not i wanna test it with a stock deck and see if i just need to go get a new player... which i guess isnt' a big deal but i wanna know if it is just mine finally went bad or what...

news update:


Ack! Rasta just called me and reported his car was dead on the 401, about 70kms out of Windsor. Puck and I have no ideas about how to get him going again save an oversized, fully charged battery that might let him make it to windsor if he turned everything electrical off. yup, his alternator bit it. good thing he didn't try going to Cougarfest :) so he's trying to call a tow truck right now to get his ride to pucks...
