Possible meet

OK People let's have some ideas for a possible meet. Kyle might be working on my struts and springs, so what about an impromptu mod meet July 5th? Everybody bring stuff you been wanting to work on and we'll all just help each other out where needed. I've also been wanting to try that throttle hang fix.

Anybody up for it? or is another weekend better?

PS Kyle could you also look at my cv joint then too. I just got back from getting an oil change and luckily I took it to midas and people there are trained in other stuff. As soon as the guy got it up on the rack he came and got me and said you have to come and see this, it's serious. After three weeks of having my car for the cv joint last time, they forgot to put a clamp to keep the black cover over the cv joint. The guy at midas thought it was dried out already, but I haven't heard any popping. I called the dealership as soon as I got back to work. They are going to look at it first thing tomorrow morning. I want to smack them for this.

they should have put a new shaft not a boot or just a joint. i will check it out if it is not fixed.i would not car if the joint is not dry yet i would want it replaced so u dont have a prob in the future.

the 5th should work for me but with the holiday im not sure whats going on. I have the brushed aluminum thing that goes around the gagues that I want to get put in. Brandon do you think that you could post a pic of there the st200 rear brace mounts on the top side? I wanna make a tube that goes arcross the top

I got e-mailed about this meet. Sorry I haven't posted anything in here in a while. Been, moving, and working on a wedding. All that is done now, but my Birthday is the 4th and I will be camping. Sorry, the 5th is out. The 12th and 13th are out for me as well, I will be in Norwalk,OH for the Fun Ford Weekend.

just a thought because of the holiday weekend next week what about having a meet on the cf days for those of us who cant make it there, sorry mary. Cause I be done with school then and i dont have any obligations otherwise, just no money to make it the cf. what do ya think?

I don't care if you guys plan something, I don't need to be at everyone! :tongue: I just thought I would see if some wanted to get together since I would be up that way and we would be working on cars. I'll even help you send out em-mails or whatnot. ;) I'll be keeping you guys in my thoughts when I'm down in VA Beach soaking up all the cougars, the beach, and the partying!

I'll be at work till 6 so I won't be any help with directions. Also Kyle can you get a hold of your tint guy for me the back window tint is almost falling out. I want to go limo all around and 25% on the front windshield. Will he do that for me? I know that is illegal tint but I still want it.

Wish I could go, guys. I lost the right rear bottom strut bolt, which causes the rear of my car to shake when moving. I am afraid to drive 4.5 hours with my car in that condition. I'll continue to check the Hoosier section for other meets throughout the summer. In the KyTn chapter, everyone seems to do their own thing or nothing at all. It would be nice to meet new people with a common interest.

welcome to the forums! sign in at the thread at the top, if you wouldn't mind. that's how we are keeping track of members right now until we get a website going. If you look down that list, you will see several from the lafayette area. I think jaged, also from your area, is trying to get something together for the weekend of the 18th.

Mary i am soooo sory about sat. when we got to the lake it was soooo nice for about two hours and then all the sudden we got hit with a storm that was like hell on earth. It blew over and became ok for just enough time to start to load the boad then wham. we got hit again. this time we said screw it and got a hotel cause it flooded sooomany roads that i could not make it through. I tryed one and water came in my doors and i panniced and said f@#k it and parked it on high ground. i hitched a ride with my parents to the hotel just up the road. I am soooo sorry and will do your car anytime. I do not want to look like the next silv.
