i just got pulled over the other night for having my smoked taillight cover, because he coudln't see if from 50 feet away, actually he can't see it from 5 feet away. but i didn't even get a warning, surprising considering my 6 other warnings/tickets

wait, you had an open beer IN the car with you?
all underbodies are illegal so keep them off while driving. so long as the car isn't driven they can be on.

Just for your information, ANY accident that you may be involved in where it is determined that you've been drinking, automatically makes YOU liable. If the car is in your parents name or the insurance is in their name, they would be liable as well. Even if you have nothing now, any decent lawyer can tie up any future earnings that you have.
Not to mention the heartache that you can cause some innocent family if some tragedy should happen.

I never said it was cool, don't put words in my mouth. I highly doubt Im going to cause some big tragedy at 12am doing 20 miles per hour on a 5 minute drive down side streets, especially when Im not drunk, yeah I wreaked of beer but I was REAL FAR from being drunk. So next time try keeping your insight to yourself....I don't know who tf you think you are but I dont need you lecturing me like Im a child. Im 27 years old I think I can take care of myself.

The impression I get by the haughty nature of your posts over pulling a fast one on the cops is, yes, I think you do think it's cool. If you didn't, then why post what you did? You can't believe that this is behavior that most people would condone?
While you say you weren't drunk, "wreaking of alcohol" implies that you had more than a few. Judging by your actions, more than enough so that your decision making process was impaired. When you say that you were on side streets, 5 minutes from your house and that it was highly unlikely you could cause a tragedy, I'll bet you said the same thing about getting pulled over by a cop.
As far as who do I think I am, I'm a person that has many friends and family on LI. I'm also a person that enjoys modding my car. Any activity that can endanger the safety of my loved ones and that can cause to have somthing that I love doing possibly taken away from me, concerns me. What you're not understanding is that you indirectly represent ALL OF US that drive modded cars. You should be an example of what's good about our hobby instead of being the boor that your posts suggest you are.
