I just got the Borla Dual Exhaust kit on my Cougar... and some of my friends were telling me to get headers. Now as far as under the hood I am lost. What exactly will the headers do for my car and how hard are they to install... no matter what I am probably gonna take it someplace anyways to have them do it.

Headers are good power gainers...
They are part of the exhaust system. The bolt to the engine...1 set on each bank (bank = set of 3 cylinders), there are 2 banks.
They combine under the car woth a y-pipe and then into the cat, and then the exhaust piping. They are pricey, and many places who have never worked on the cougar may charge upwards of $700-$900 for header install.
If you come to the meet on the 12th you might just see a header install. Headers are a biotch to install.
