okay, i just got back from cancun and haven't been active for awhile...where's the meet located at again
Can't make it, many problems to deal with, that's why I haven't been on in a while. Maybe in about 4 months when my husband gets out of jail. :banghead:

Its me plus 1. I talked me girlfriend into coming along with me. HAHA. I am ordering my fuel pump tomarrow from BAT so that should be done way before the meet, and getting my alternator fixed pretty soon also, so i will be there.

Unless, I'm locked away doing a reaserch study, I'll be there. So I won't be able to confirm until a few days before the event.

I understand that people are bringing certain things, but what is the plan? What all is on the menu. I dont want to just show up without bringin somethin. Unless of course everything has been taken care of.

im not sure if im going to be able to make it. its taking longer than i thought to get the money from the guy that hit my car. and i don't want to fix my car in a hurry and have it looking like crap. i will let you guy know by tomorrow if im going.:cry:

im coming as of now. it took me awhile to post cause i was working in plano for the past week and im going back monday for 2 weeks but i will be back in time for the meet so count me in. im going to bring some hamburger meat and some hot dogs plus some extra beer.

I'm still not sure if I'll be able to make it or not...Sorry to be so flaky about things, but I don't know if my new emloyers are going to let me have a few days off or not. I did post some new pics of my car (http://www.fastcougar.com/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=49&threadid=76389) so just in case I don't make it, at least you'll know what my car looks like! Haha!

Has anyone cup up with what is going to happen and when things are going to start so that I know when I need to leave (i got about 4-5 hour drive ahead of me). Also, where are we meeting (location so I know where the hell I am going)

Hey Spooki, Im back and it feels great to be home. I have never been so happy to be back in abilene (of all places). And having never been to a meet or being able to meet other cougar owners, Im looking forward to meeting some people.
On a somewhat mute point, have they made any determinations as to where and at what time everyone is going to meet? I need to get directions and make arrangements as to when I need to leave here. A buddy of mine will be joining me (hes a jbody owner but loves the cougars). Any more info will be helpful.

Well like Im ever around anyways, but im looking into going to the meet. About a 40% chance ill get my sorry ass out of Houston for the weekend, but having 2 jobs kinda sucks a little. Oh and my car has the common b.s problems, maybe ill drive the Eclipse, Cougar just doesnt have the life to drive long distances at the moment.
If funkboy doesn't post directions soon I will go ahead and come up with some directions for yall.

I was hoping to have the car dyno tuned by the this friday but it looks like I won't be able to do that until next Tuesday.
Was hoping to show off my new high boost settings and have all V6 owners green with envy at how much more HP I have than you.:naughty:
Guess you'll just have to make do with seeing the only turbocharged and nitrous'd Zetec Cougar in Texas and maybe even the WORLD.:cool:
That is assuming I had an idea where the meet will be.:cover:

Maybe the only turbo and nitrous zetec, but there is supposed to be another turbo zetec at the meet. Hopefully nate shows up.

Its actually a Chick-Fil-A next door to the old Albertsons.
We will make our way to the park from there.
Dosserj, The park we were thinking of meeting at is Brackenridge Park.
I think Funkboy was supposed to go hold a spot for us at the park but I haven't heard from him.
