Well i just finished installing a custom neon setup last night inside my car, i've got 4 red 12"s and 2 red 8"s and they really light up the car well! Took me about 2 days to install everything (seeing as i had no electrical experience what so ever before attempting this), but it really looks professionally done and i couldn't be more happy with it! I've got all 6 neons wired up to a red LED switch which i drilled into my dash (one of the un-used buttons) and you can't see any wiring anywhere. Check them out and let me know what you think!

The neons look great! but if you don't mind me suggesting...I would try to put that switch somewhere less obvious, so what way you can't see it at all.....again, just an idea....

Lookin good

Looks really good, nice job! Just out of curiousity where did you mount each of the tubes? 2 12's and 1 8" on each side? What brand are they streetglow?

Yes, Please let us know what brand tubes you used. I had 10" blue ones from ebay and they werent bright at ALL. Also, Is it possible for you to take a picture of where you mounted the drivers side tube?

awesome!

hey, i also have absolutely no wiring experience... do you think you could quickly tell me how you wired everything?
PM me - it might be easier, or write up a quick how-to! :)

either way, Thanks!
and great job, once again - i'm inspired!

yea i could probably do a how-to, i took abunch of pics as i was mounting and wiring everything. I'll see what i can do .

by the way, i have two more 12"s mounted on the backs of the rear seats that i didn't take pics of. This is my setup: 12" under driver dash; 12" under passenger dash; 8" under each seat; 12" behind back seats

I kinda feel the same way about the switch. Maybe its too late, but it might look good to have the black part of the button flush with the surface you cut the hole in, just seems out a little far. The neons look great though, very nice!

Yea i could do that with the switch. I was thinking about somehow redoing the switch so it's just like the back defrost button nest to it. So i can just push the whole black button down to turn them on/off. I'd have to find a push button switch first off (which they didn't have at the radioshack i went to, to get all the parts) and then mount a small spring or two on it. if anyones ever done something like that lemme know to save me some time
