My dad has just got a new Focus which has the same CD head unit as the Cougar. It has a remote control unit mounted next to the indicators that controls volume, stations, CD etc.
Anyone know if it's possible to fit one of these to the Cougar ?
Cheers,
Tim.

Answer is: Yes you can. Had a brilliant set of Ford instructions kindly emailed to me by another member, so if anyone else is interested, please let me know.

Tim, I recently changed my unit for the 6006E in-dash autochanger which I believe can be used with the remote control stalk, so I'd appreciate the info....ronwallwork@hotmail.com
Thanks :)

Hi Blackadder
My wife's got your indash changer (6006) in her Focus and it has a remote on the steering column but it is different from the normal 'sonyesk' one that is on the other stereos so if you haven't yet got one I'd check the compatibility before you pay up
