rear lenses

I believe the Yank rear lights exclude fog lamps so you'll be in trouble when it comes to MOT time! :ugh:

Nah they dont exclude rear fog lamps all the lights are visible the only problem you might have is with the reflectors but everyone with covers seems to have passed the MOT ok so far.Mines not due till Dec :rolleyes:

The American lights do not have the separator in them between our indicators and our brake lights because the american cougar does not have rear fog lights. The bulb holders are also different so you cannot just un plug the UK ones and just plug them into the American lights as the won't fit without a bit of modification, you will also have to swap the position of the bulbs if you want the lights to work ok, the fog / tail lights will become the indicator and the indicator / brake light will have to be the fog / tail / brake light.

The only other way of doing it is to take the lights apart and fit our separator bit in between the indicator and the brake light, i have tried this and have already broken one light so it is not easy.

Hope this make sense, those of you who are coming to Interford i will show you what i mean.
